About Our Road Trips
Sunnyhill On the Road Adventures is a program that gives adults, 18 years and older, the opportunity to take short road trips with the support of our Sunnyhill Adventure staff.
Some activities for each trip are planned in advance. Others are suggested by staff, but many are chosen by the group to allow them to personalize their adventure. In some instances not all activities listed for a destination will be utilized.
Road Trip FAQ:
How is the Trip Staffed?
Travelers requiring 1:1 staffing are accepted on a first come, first served basis. 1:1 travelers will have their own staff for the entire weekend. For others, there is one staff person for every five travelers.
Our staff accompanies these travelers during the waking hours only. All staff rooms are close by to all who join us. Transportation is provided in a 15 passenger van or an accessible shuttle bus.
What are the Accommodations?
There are two travelers per room. Each traveler has their own bed.
What about medication and medical needs?
Medications are held by the staff if the traveler self-medicates. At least one of our staff is trained in first aid and CPR in addition to being a medication technician.
What Does the Cost Cover?
All trips are $750 and included transportation, accommodations, meals and entertainment. Souvenirs, sodas and between meal snacks and beverages are not included.
