Take Advantage of Our Adventures Campground!
In addition to scheduled programming, the Sunnyhill Campground is available for your group activity, whether it is a school field trip, corporate team building, or a social outing.
We can customize our campground to fit your needs and budget. Our location provides the perfect setting for groups of all types, such as for corporations, church groups, company picnics, family reunions, Boy and Girl Scouts, youth groups and other clubs.
Zipline and climbing wall:
The 2013 camp season opened with our newest all-accessible attraction. A new tandem zip line and a climbing wall have been constructed on the property. The zip line has over 500 feet of zip soaring over our lake, and can reach speeds up to 30 mph. You can enjoy the zip line solo, or ride side-by-side with a friend.
Our expansive wooded setting nestled in Jefferson County is an ideal location for anyone looking to experience nature as it was meant to be.
Learn about the natural world through the study of native flowers, birds, trees and animals. Challenge yourself at climbing, setting up your own campground, orienteering and animal tracking.
Around the campfire on a clear summer night the sky comes alive with stars.
You will definitely come away with a deeper respect of the natural beauty that is all around us.
Our 60 foot Alpine Tower and swing will surely challenge campers of all levels and abilities. Sunnyhill is a challenge by choice facility and often one step on the tower is as difficult as getting to the top for some.
Our low ropes course is designed to teach teamwork, while being a fun experience for each individual. In addition to our on-site activities we also offer cave explorations and hiking expeditions at Meramec State Park.
At Sunnyhill Adventures we offer a wide variety of water-based activities, such as our lakefront where campers can fish, canoe, enjoy a paddleboat ride or just relax in the pavilion.
Our on-site swimming pool boasts 60,000 gallons of fun where campers can cool off, play water basketball, develop swimming skills or just relax by the pool. Additionally, we offer off-site float trips ranging from two to five miles down the Meramec River.
All of our campers are encouraged to express themselves through various arts and crafts projects, by creating images and collages using materials and items that they find in nature.
In addition to all of our other programs we also offer campers the opportunity to take part in baseball, kickball, volleyball, soccer, basketball and archery.
