At Sunnyhill, our top priority is to enable and empower the individuals we support to empowered living.  We highly value fiscal responsibility and transparency and are proud to allocate 84% of our income directly towards providing to those receiving our services. This allocation demonstrates our commitment to making the most of every dollar received, ensuring it directly and positively impacts the lives of those we support. We are grateful for the oversight of our board of directors and the contributions of our donors, and we strive to use their generosity in the most effective way possible.

Sunnyhill Adventures Improvements

Sunnyhill Adventures is dedicated to offering individuals diagnosed with opportunities for self-reliance through immersive experiences in conservation, cultivation, and recreation. Our campgrounds serve as a hub for peer networks and are proudly designed to be fully inclusive, welcoming school district field trips and fostering an environment aligned with ADA recommendations.

This fiscal period, we invested $600,000 in enhancing Sunnyhill Adventures, reaffirming our commitment to our founders’ vision of an inclusive summer camp for all. The improvements undertaken reflect our dedication to providing a safe, accessible, and enjoyable environment for every participant.

Improvements included:

  • Repouring of ADA-compliant sidewalks

  • Creation of a new community fire pit

  • Kitchen overhaul for providing meals

  • Tree removal and landscaping enhancements

  • Air duct cleaning for improved air quality

  • Poison ivy treatment to ensure camper safety

  • Kitchen and main office floor resurfacing

  • Foundation repairs for structural integrity

  • Installation of new accessible dock

  • Installation of new A/C units
